This is my list of what I am going to do after my final exam on the morning November 10th 2011.
- Go to town with any of my friends who have finished, dump my stuff at mum’s work, then proceed to have a good time and get really, really drunk that night. I will probably have to crash at Phillip’s because he is the only friend I have who actually lives in the CBD.
- Make tea when I get home.
- Get a life. I want to learn how to have a good time and not pay meticulous attention to every little thing I do.
- Get my Ps. AKA, attaining freedom.
- Cosplay like a mother fucker.
- Re-read Deltora Quest. All three series. Fuck yes.
- Go visit Nathan at a WilLANga. Despite attempts to meet up when he comes to the city since he’s moved back to Adelaide, I still haven’t seen him for nearly 10 years.
- Go for a really, really, really fucking long drive by myself, following my nose. Fall asleep in the car somewhere when it is really dark, and awake to a stunning view that I cannot even imagine. Eat some apple and rhubarb crumble (because I’m going to start the drive by heading towards Hahndorf and buying a 5kg bag of new-season apples, pink ladies, hopefully, and one of the fucking amazing home-made apple and rhubarb crumbles that they sell, for my journey’s food supply. I also think I’ll stop in Hahndorf and buy some rose spray that smells like kindy.) for breakfast with a metal fork. Then I’ll drink some coffee and keep driving on my merry way.
- Get a job and save up for university/travelling/moving in with some friends.
- I think my friends are planning something for schoolies that involves not going anywhere near an official schoolies event. I think they were thinking of going camping. Somewhere where no one will care if a group of mainly underage adolescents get really drunk, smoke weed and take shrooms. I’ll be one of the few 18 year olds so I’ll probably have to buy the alcohol. I’ll get rum :3 even if no one else likes it, becuase I think it is nice. I probably won’t even touch the drugs, and not drink much. Afterall, someone has to look after everyone.
- Finish watching AVPM with Gabby.
- Party lots. Well.. whatever I get invited to. I don’t get invited to much.
- Go to one of the LANs in town that Texas invited me to.
- Spend a lot of time playing music. I miss playing Violin and Bass Guitar a lot. Playing music is a part of me. I stopped playing at least once a week last year. I feel like someone has cut a piece from deep inside of me away. There are reasons that I don’t play right now.
- Watch Firefly and Dollhouse.
- Learn to rollerskate, so I can try out for one of the Adelaide Derby leagues the year after. Even if I don’t get in, I would still like to try out because the girl’s involved are utterly amazing.
- Get involved in Off The Couch again. I had to quit this year because of Year 12. I really, really wanted to do it. Next year.
- Learn: Irish Gaelic, Japanese.
- Find the movie adaptation of A Wrinkle In Time. I saw it when on Nickolodeon when I was staying my Gran’s for the night when I was about 8. I loved it. 2 years or so later, I first read the book. It has been my favourite ever since.
- Finish reading the Death Note manga. I’ve been stuck at chapter 86 since year 9. I could not get past it. Mental block.
- Try to start a radio program. With Gabby, maybe? Could get Isaac on. That would be amusing. I love doing YouthFM but I’m technically meant to stop doing it, well.. last month. Kathryn will probably still let me come in every now and then, but I don’t want this to be the last time I am involved with radio.
- Go to: England, Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Japan, Germany, France, Russia, Canada, a fuckload of concerts to make up for all the ones I am missing this year.
- I’m going to watch all the amazing movies that people tell me to watch: Donnie Darko, Trainspotting, A Clockwork Orange, Wristcutters: A Love Story, Dogs In Space, Shank, Tormented, Kidulthood, Crutch, Go Ask Alice, Requiem For A Dream, Four Corners of Nowhere.
